  Time to think about this seriously?
Just read this on Wired. With all the talk about RFID and security over the past few months, I have had fleeting thoughts that maybe, this time, here is the technology that will point us toward the end times. I'm just reluctant to go there because it seems that doomsayers have been saying the same thing for the past hundred years and nothing has come of it. However, with the new emphasis on using technology to identify individuals, can implants be that far behind? Implanted RFID seems impractical to me, however, when eye "prints" or DNA could be used just as effectively.
